Cancer Victim Has $300k Award Dismissed Due To Statute of Limitations Date

A jury verdict in the amount of $300,000 was recently dismissed by the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. The plaintiff had alleged she was exposed to radiation from the Hanford Nuclear Reserve which gave her cancer. The jury award was dismissed, however, because the court said the lawsuit was not brought within the mandatory statute of limitations dates.
